Low-Cost DAC Static Linearity

LC_LIN is an example of low-end system using EMA. An Agilent 34970A with 34901A multiplexer and 34907A multifunction card is used to caracterize a DAC static linearity. 34907A digital output is used to set DAC input and deliver a trigger to internal 34970A DMM. An analog output of 34907A is used to deliver DC power supply to the DAC under test. The 34901A is needed to connect DAC analog output to 34970A DMM.
This system is only usable for static measurement as digital output from 34907A is unable to deliver dynamic pattern. However, with slower processing time (due to DMM as well as digital pattern generation) such equipment is able to get fine DUT caracterization (results are compared to those of same DUT from ATTDAC bench  using Agilent 81200 pattern generator, 3458A DMM and 6633B DC power source).
